Yes VP + OF should give max. Info to make right decision but also can be quite complex.

 

Well it is complex BUT the more you use it, the simpler it should get. We already have a tone of info and indicators so adding another set might be a little too much info in order to tray to make sense of things but that's info you don't have without the OF and Delta. TD says to only look at it when the price reaches a support or resistance area because it might not be that effective in the middle of a trend so that pretty much simplifies things. Also, as you mentioned the volume profile shows you where the Smart Money is entering the market but we don't know the direction price will go. Order Flow is not the holy grail but it does show which side is pushing more orders in, if there is absorption of the orders, delta divergence or fake orders that disappear when the market price reaches them.

 

Btw are you getting these NT8 errors?

 

I know the feeling buddy. I also have the habit of fighting a losing battle or trying to catch a falling knife. Sometimes taking the L is a small "win" cos it saves you so much mental stress and emotions. The market will be there tomorrow or next week so you can always make it back.

I actually tried trading the very fast-moving US30 and got margined more than once. Gold is the same but I haven't traded it with a volume profile.

 

Those are good results actually. What pairs did you trade? Did you trade manually or used EAs?

Apparently my futures demo data expired so i had to get a new trial account. I think they figure out what are the most temporary email services as when you do go to sign up for a new trial those email addresses get rejected. I tried like 10-15 different emails and got rejected. The NT8 guys are getting slick.

I didn't check either. An alert kept popping up every time i opened the NT8. I'm glad to see TD's indicators are still working in NT8.I was just watching TD's order flow strategy. I think it is a scalping strategy and it works almost the same way as the VP principle.


Nice Audusd entry. You are probably not trading the 1-2% risk per trade.

 

I also caught 2 trades short on Gbpusd si Eurusd but damn SM moves fast to reverse the price and make sure you get out with peanuts or your SL gets hit. The VP course is definitely giving me more confidence in finding places where to trade from. http://prntscr.com/jp1dYHtEsNbh

 

I closed $ 140 in profit. The price rebounded . I could wait but ...

How do you trade the fibonacci golden zone indicator? I Installed it as well but i don't have any instructions on it. do you trade it like your usual retracement when the price gets into the golden zone?
